USGS Says Israel Has 1.7 Billion Barrels of Oil

The United States Geological Service released a report last week on Israel’s Levant Basin, stating that the area contains 1.689 billion barrels of undiscovered oil and 122.4 trillion cubic feet of undiscovered natural gas. The Levant Basin lies both onshore and offshore and includes most of middle and northern Israel and coastal Lebanon and Syria. The basin includes the exploration areas of Noble Energy offshore and Zion Oil & Gas onshore.
Although the USGS released its report just last week, most of the data it contained came from research conducted between 2000 and 2008 by Dr. Michael Gardosh, a researcher at the Geophysical Institute of Israel, and Dr. Yehezkel Druckman, who until a few years ago was Petroleum Israel’s Commissioner. Dr. Druckman now serves on the Zion Oil & Gas Board of Directors.

At a crucial point of this time, the deposits of such huge resources have to come to Israel as prophesied. It is nothing to get wondered, then the northern block is yet to come over this area with their hidden plans which plans are very well open in scriptures.
If Isreal strikes oil do you honestly think the arabs will leave them alone. It will only infuriate the arabs further into a full blown war in the middle east.
Good for Israel. Carlton. Who said that an oil strike would make the arabs leave Israel alone? Do you think anything would make the arabs leave Israel alone? Do you think the arabs are already infuriated? Can you explain the hatred that arabs have for Israel? I hope they continue to strike oil & gas and find even more than the above estimates and the oil & gas helps them to be more powerful than their enemies. Their God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob already makes them more powerful than their enemies. They are God’s chosen people.
God said it would happen and of course it did. If that is another reason for Israel to be attacked , , it matters not, , God and Israel will destroy any and all those who will attack and God has predicted. Its simple

I agree that this is more prophesy being verified…but look elsewhere on the globe and you can see more if you just open your eyes. In the OT just before the flood the morals of the world were almost non existent…”marrying and giving in marriage”… I thnk this not only pertains to the violation of “one man and one woman for life” concept of marriage but also spirital adultry as well. I find myself asking that man looking back in the mirror if his God is not the almighty dollar instead of a Risen Savior…my only hope is forgivness of my sins through the shed blood of Jesus.

Well said. It seems that you agree with the bible. Is it true that the Ezekiel 38 prophecy foretold nations (including Iran and Russia) would wage war with Israel in the last days? And I believe these nations are drawn to Israel bcos of the riches, oil/gas and greed.
And throughout history, even if you do not believe in the bible, you could see from history (eg 6 day war, Yom Kippor war, etc), no matter how ugly the media paints Israel to be, that Israel, such a small nation whose enemies far outnumbered them and enemies with far superior fire power. But G_d without fail would turn the odds against the enemies. What the devil planned for evil, G_d always turn it for good to those who love Him and called according to His purposes. Each time the enemies (of Israel) attacked, Israel end up getting more lands, not that Israel wanted to, but bcos the enemies attacked. There is no way Israel could have won if not for G_d who is at Israel’s side. Israel being the apple of G_d’s eye, G_d would set Himself against any nations who come against Israel. That’s bcos of the covenant made between G_d and Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(or Israel).
That is so cool, ive herd that they have been looking for sometime i hope it’s soon. PRAISE GOD. Lord come quickly. We all know from scripture that a northern army will attack Isreal but will not prevail. This may be what bring on the attack because Russia WILL NOT allow Isreal to become a world power in that area. Again God will and will push Russia to the sea. There still will be many lives lost in this battle. Pray for Isreal and its people it”s not going to be good time but they will WIN, With God Help.
Hmmmm… Could this be the “Hook in the jaw” which is referred to in the Bible (Gog and Magog war)? The coming weeks/months should be very interesting indeed. In the meantime, there is the coming war with Israel’s near neighbors which is getting closer every day. Just look at how Israel is becoming a “burdensome stone” for all nations. Prophesy at its best….
Now is the time for everyone to make up their mind where they stand… you are either with GOD or against him. We are in the age of Grace, but it won’t last forever.

I absolutely treasure the prophesys of the Bible but I am unable to convince my own children of the time we are living in that is the end time. All you have to do is watch Fox news because any other media outlet is so in love with Obama that they can’t see the forest for the trees they are blind to the truth or they are just unable to cross the Obama regime.
